Contract for Educational Assessments

KAINAI BOARD OF EDUCATION SERVICE CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES

The Kainai Board of Education (KBE) is located on a First Nation Reserve located in the southern part of Alberta. The KBE carries out the operations and functions for the delegation of education services from kindergarten to Grade 12 within the Kainai community. Having adopted Kainaysinni, the Declaration of the Elders of Kainai, the KBE is committed to excellence in education for the members of Kainai.

Contract for Educational Assessments:

1. Term: October 2024 - June 2025
2. Type of work: Psychoeducational Assessments are an opportunity to look at the whole person and gather information so support their growth, development and well-being and to secure appropriate support and funding to address needs. Typically, psychoeducational assessments examine cognitive abilities, academic skills, attention and executive functions, adaptive functioning, social/emotional considerations and trauma. These areas also define recommendations for support in the school system.
3. Type of Services required: Schedule assessment meetings, interviews and organize Parent and teacher questionnaires, complete 20 assessments for 2 Elementary schools, provide a detailed report for debriefing with parents and school staff.
4. This individual shall be registered with the Alberta College of Registered Psychology and uphold the standards of Kaina Board of Education.

• Intervention Services Information System Check (Current Within 3 Months)
